Terms of Use

  1. You, the user (henceforth referred to as "you"), certify that you are at least 13 years of age or that you have received your parent/guardian's permission to sign up. (See Privacy Policy, below)
  2. You may only have one account per email address.
  3. I, the creator and administrator (henceforth referred to as "I"), assume no responsibility for any damages incurred directly or indirectly through the use of this site.
  4. You may not attempt to hack, scam, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage over fellow users. ("Common sense" rule.) I assume that you are all responsible individuals and will not abuse the power given you.
  5. I reserve the right to change your username with notice given within 24 hours of the change. (I will only enact this if you choose a reserved username. To play it safe, avoid using names like Zeus, Thor, Isis, etc., without first tacking on a number or something to the end.)
  6. I reserve the right to declare an "off-line" time during which I can perform maintenance. During that time, you may not do anything on the site. If you do do something during that time, you may corrupt your account beyond repair.
  7. I WILL delete any account that becomes corrupted!
  8. You agree NEVER, EVER, EVER to use the back button on your browser!!! Doing so may corrupt your account beyond repair.
  9. I will TRY to implement a warning system. If you violate a (minor) rule, you will be given a warning through your private email. You MUST reply to this warning within 1 week (7 days) of receipt, or your account will be deleted. Major violations may result in immediate account deletion. There will be a sort of "three strikes" rule as well for warnings.
  10. You have the right to appeal a warning (i.e., if your account was hacked). I am the final judge as to whether the warning should remain on your record.
  11. I reserve the right to delete your account at any time, without reason or notice. (I never want to have to invoke this right; this will only occur if something really outrageous happens, i.e., the site itself becomes corrupted, a family emergency requires me to abandon administration of the site, you do something so awful that it isn't even mentioned in the terms of use, etc.)
  12. You agree to immediately report any and all bugs that you come across.
  13. If the site provides web space in the future, you agree to respect the beliefs and opinions of others. (Another "common sense" rule.)
  14. I reserve the right to edit said web space without notice.
  15. I reserve the right to be biased in said editing.
  16. You agree NEVER to close or redirect your browser when in a battle. This may corrupt your account beyond repair.
  17. You agree not to knowingly enter incorrect information for the public email and messenger fields. You may leave these fields blank if you do not wish to be contacted.
  18. The private email you enter MUST be valid. If it is not, your account cannot be activated.
  19. Any account not activated within 1 week (7 days) of signup WILL be deleted.
  20. I reserve the right to change these terms without notice. If you do not agree with a change in the terms, you must delete your account before the changes become effective. Holding on to your account constitutes your acceptance of these changes.
  21. You may not do anything that would put my site in violation of the Terms and Conditions of 1ASPHost, my web host.
Beta Testers also agree to the following:
  1. (Your account WILL be deleted when the beta-testing period is over.) EDIT: I've decided against this, since the site doesn't seem to have been unbalanced.
  2. You agree to beta-test without any compensation. (I will probably give you something, like a rare item, but just in case...)
  3. You agree to reply to all surveys, requests, etc., within 1 week (7 days) of receipt.
Privacy Policy
  1. All personally identifiable information is collected only during the signup process.
  2. I will never divulge your private email to anyone (except possibly future administrators of the site, or if a court order requires me to).
  3. Your private email will ONLY be used to contact you about your account or for surveys about the site. You will not receive junk mail.
  4. Your name, public email address, and messenger service screen name will be displayed on your lookup. This lookup may only be seen by other users (i.e., search engines cannot see it). It is recommended that you do NOT put your full name on; you are free to use an alias. Your public email/SN are entirely optional and meant only for use by fellow users.
  5. No other personally identifiable information will be collected in any way.
  6. If you are under the age of 13, your parent/guardian MUST send me an email or mail me a signed letter giving you permission to sign up BEFORE you do so. This email/letter must contain the private email that you intend to use when you sign up, as well as whether or not you are allowed to post a public email or SN, and verification that your parent/guardian has indeed read these terms.
  7. If you are a parent/guardian in the situation above and wish to have the public email/SN removed or the name changed, email me and I will do so. If you wish to have the private email removed, you must email me and I will DELETE the account.
  8. I am the only person who has access to the private email. All concerns about privacy may be directed to me.
